Jimmy Chan became an unlikely local Hong Kong hero by beating out 50 other Santas from around the globe to be crowned 'Number One Santa' at this year's Santa Claus Winter Games in far northern town of Gaellivare, Sweden, 100km above the arctic circle. "He clamored up chimney tops, gulped down Swedish porridge, reindeer-raced and kick-sledded his way to victory while braving a minus 20 degrees Celsius chill." Front page news, the city is pretty excited over this!
