The Dark Knight

Hong Kong is eagerly awaiting the next installment of the Batman series, 'The Dark Knight,' because much of it was filmed along the city's skyline. Rumor has it the film's director scrapped a plan to have Batman dropped into Victoria Harbor after tests of the water revealed threatening levels of harmful bacteria! Germs aside, it is released next week and it ought to be a tough ticket to get and advanced reviews are already positive. I see most of my movies on the seatback cushion of an airplane or on DVD, so I love getting out to the actual theater. And the cinema I go to is a dream -- big plush leather seats, terraced seating, lots of legroom, clean floors. All the seats are designated and can be purchased online much like you would do with an online airline reservation. It's a great moviegoing experience, payback for all the times I've lined up outside the ticket window of a movie gigaplex and scurried into the theater only to be stuck in the front row corner.
