Lizzie and I had lunch today at a downtown HK sushi restaurant where the items pass before you on a conveyor belt. Saw something I'd never seen before -- Hot Dog Sushi. A dog served nigiri-style atop a clump of rice fixed by a wrap of seaweed. I've been know to put down a lot of dogs in a short period of time like Kobayashi, but I couldn't touch these. Perhaps they fixed them up special when they saw the two gweilos walk in the door, but there were no other takers as the dogs did several laps on the conveyors belts by the time we'd paid our bill. True 'fusion' cuisine.
